William Samuel Dunklin, State of Tennessee Licensed Architect

Since 2000, Will has shepherded to completion buildings as small as a golf cart garage and as large as 125,000 square foot retail stores in states throughout the South, Northeast and Mid-West. It is a point of pride that all were done in a timely and professional manner

In 2013 Will established his own business in Knoxville Tennessee, focusing on residential, commercial and sacred architecture.

As is obvious from the drawings on this page, Will has spent years learning the vocabulary of traditional design. We all have our preferences, but Will has a special fondness of the styles of the mid-to-late 19th century. The drawing above left is a detail from a proposal made in 2012. The drawing above right is for a new house design based on a Knoxville house designed by the celebrated Victorian era architect George F. Barber.

Will Dunklin is also comfortable working in stylishly modern forms or meeting pragmatic requirements where the budget may be very tight. First and foremost is his desire to help clients achieve their goals.

Will stays abreast of current codes, materials and advances in construction, lighting, HVAC and sound control through his memberships in the American Institute of Architects and the Construction Specification Institute.

Whatever your design needs, William Dunklin, A.I.A. stands ready to help you with presentation drawings in color or black and white, or technical drawings for permitting, bidding or construction documents.
